You still need to wear specs with these... don't you?
Some work on a lenticular process that relies on your viewing position.
be using lenticular technology?
and that definitely uses glasses. But I think all manufacturers are only just releasing their first forays into the market so it's jumping the gun to really make a sweeping statement about 'all' the ones available.
I could well be wrong, though. It's not something I have any interest in just yet. Who wants to have the Betamax of 3D TV? Or indeed the next 3DO?
It's out there.
It was upstairs outside Jessops / HMV in Westfield.
Sky were showing lots of their better things using the process and I have to say, as a total sceptic I can see why people think it'll be huge. It looked like there was a little 3D room in the wall with people running around. But this was obviously a high cost, tech demo and therefore rendered out and treated after the event in question.
Live TV couldn't work in 3D... yet.... could it?
Still would likely stick to 2D though as specs would get on my tits.
You film with a 3D camera that has two lenses placed 6cm apart.
It won't be all that impressive, though. 3D is an idea waiting for a use in most cases. I'm guessing only consoles will actually make good use of it.
