IT JUST TASTES LIKE BEEF
I've got some German Sausage flavour to try later. How many flavours are there?
i reviewed the cheeseburger ones for a website called A Hamburger Today. they're pretty grim; they taste just like a mcburp.
spanish paella 5/10
french garlic bread - too scared to try
and played World Cup Crisp Challenge before starters. I recommend it, although it seems quite hard - the winning score was three and a half out of a possible ten.
The flavours I have tried so far are:
English Beef & Yorkshire Pudding - OK, a bit meaty with maybe a hint of dough if you really concentrate.
Germany Bratwurst - yes, very Bratwursty if you like that sort of thing.
French Garlic Baguette - rubbish. I suspect this was done deliberately as Walkers are well-known Frogophobes.
Brazilian Salsa - yes, very nice thank you. Nice spicy tomato flavours.
American Cheeseburger - shockingly effective. Really nails the authentic artificial cheese with a hint of gherkin.
Japanese Teriyaki - "No." says the wife "Nothing like teriyaki". Almost all contestants went for Mexican food. Had that Sensations-overload to it.
Dutch Edam - Yep, tastes like Edam. I think it's the cheeseburger flavour without the dill.
Argentinian Steak - OK I suppose.
Still to try in the cupboard - Australian Kangaroo, South African Chutney, Italian Bolognese and Spanish Paella. Will report back.
can i come to one of your dinner parties?
Same plastic cheese, same everything. You can almost taste the grease paper wrapping.
are actually amazing.
Just eaten a packet. Absolutely phenomenal!
Near exact taste approximation. 9.5/10
tasted like gravel.
OOH SICK BURN SPAIN
that would definitely be a good one to keep in the address book.
i wanna go visit one day
Australian BBQ Kangaroo: Never having tasted real kangaroo, I am perhaps not in the best position to detect the subtleties of the dish, but I suspect there are few differences to be found between these and normal Walkers BBQ.
A little side-treat for crisp and booze enthusiasts:
Charlie Brooker reviews every flavour, hates almost all of them.
