anyone watching this later?
Mayweather will KO him but i can see him winning by UD on points. Shame really as Pacquiao vs Mosley would be a much better fight than Pacman vs Mayweather.
I actually think this will be a closer fight than people think
If mosely keeps his jab going, and doesnt go nuts, it could be quite close going into the later rounds. His left hand will be very important.
Cue mayweather KO round 3
Pretty much a complete shut out... Aside from Mosley landing a couple of big right hands in the 2nd which wobbled Floyd it was typical Mayweather fair, Shoulder rolling all the way to a points win.
he was literally gassed mouth open exhausted by round 3. His timing was a little off and he was visibly nervous/tight the whole way through the fight. Whether thats a testament to Mayweathers "greatness" or the fact Mosley is almost 39 years old and hasnt had a fight for 18(?) months is questionable. I agree with you, im completley on the fence when it comes to Floyd, he's good for the sport no doubting that but i also prefer blood and guts fighters.
I think the whole Pacman PED's thing has been blown way out of proportion, Pac's normal walking around weight has apparently for the last few years at least been up around 147 so it isnt really that big a leap to compete at Welterweight, it's just a question not losing that weight whilst in camp, which is why he has Alex Ariza.
Mitchell Katsidis will be a war and i think Mitchell can win it... Khan is also fighting that night and ITV have pulled their fingers out and are going to show it live!!
He was on the front foot a lot more than in previous fights. He completely outboxed Mosley. Old school stuff, centre of the ring, not running away, blocking, weaving, and punching. Fantastic performance, against who was supposed to be his toughest fight yet. Mosley hit him flush, and Floyd recovered like the great fighters do. Mayweather beats Pacquiao, in my opinion, and quite easily too.
and im not sure why. Up until his second fight with Eric Morales, Pacquiao was pretty one dimensional. He was a slugger, although a very good one. Since he has teamed up with Roach he has become an exceptional fighter. The names on his record are unreal, and are comparable with almost any fighter in history, but I still, I cant give him full credit as a lot of the names on his record were fighters past prime, or made to fight at a catchweight. In my opinion Marquez beat him twice, but I can see the argument for Pacquiao wins on both occasions.
I don't think the fight will happen either, especially if the PPV figures for the Mosley fight come in at over 2 million.
Stay off the internet whilst drinking Jameson.
beats Pacquiao... on points. Manny is just to easy to hit. Look at his last fight for instance Clottey is known for his low work rate, he fights for about 45 seconds of each round (if that) and he landed on Pacquiao quite easy when he let his shots go. Mayweather will be catching him with the same right hand counter he hit Mosley with at will last night. Saying all that Pacquiao is relentless in coming forward and will be putting the pressure and in Mayweathers face all night, he's happy to take a shot in order to get off a bomb of his own... something Mosley should have been doing.
Anyways i agree, i cant see the fight happening as things stand.
I don't think Mayweather has fought anyone as good as him yet. He fought De La Hoya when he was way past his best. I'm hoping Mosely wins anyway, Mosely-Pac will be a much better fight than Mosely-Mayweather.
Shane looked awful after that great 2nd round, Credit to Mayweather he never let Mosley back into it.
Fell asleep... too pissed
