Numbers 5,16,34 and 48 are quite fascinating.
I just googled facts about the underground and it was the first result
don't know why I never mentioned it before
i think they're making a satirical reference to the distric lines time table performace.
but whoever wrote those facts is bell-end. i think its safe to disregard anything on there.
there's only one underground station with only one syllable, it's bank.
should i bother reading on or are they all that terrible?
"Considering there are 287 tube stations, things 1 and 2 are quite surprising."
who on earth wrote these?
but it's more to do with my huge cock than electromagnetism
same for me, although I find people can't sit on the opposite chair either, because I'm usually sporting a stonking erection
It's your right as a man
it really cant....it just proves some of these facts are bullshit
How the fuck does it get from the Stockwell to Victoria ???Is ther some sort of secret bridge that we can't see.
which states that the first underground train ran from Baker St to Waterloo (bakerloo)
The first line to open was Paddington to Farringdon (Act of Parliament in 1854, opening in 1864). The Bakerloo line opened nearly 30 years later.
Baker Street was the first tube station to be opened, as part of the Paddington to Farringdon Metropolitan Railway.
Manor house also has all five vowels in the name.
I am going to shoot myslef in the head right now.
you know, the one about the guy from the darkness
When they were built, the tunnels of the Underground broke through the courses of many underground streams, and over 30 million litres of water now leak into the system each day. This is enough to flood the entire system in a few weeks, and so it is removed from the tunnels by 1,030 pumps. There is, however, an even greater threat to the system which is posed by the presence of the river Thames.
this is probably the worst website i have ever visited.
it's unlikely that one is true
"16. Julian Lloyd Webber was London Underground's first official busker - I didn't know he needed the money that badly."
that the Eurotunnel (chunnel) does at ANY POINT!
Prove it or disprove it or don't.
it's not even a fact
And it could've slipped in nicely after 2.
The only monosyllabic station is...
spending 40 mins on the tube means you inhale the same amount of material as smoking 2 ciggies. but on the tube you don't inhale burning carcinogenic shit. at least, not as much.
