Looks like in my constituency my vote is 'worth' 0.172 votes.
My mp is alastair darling.
quite a bit then.
imagine a fair few disers are here.
he'll batter you for that
I feel pretty powerful right now.
the difference between labour and lib dems is about 400 votes i think, could go either way definitely.
They've destroyed a small forest to make all the anti-Labour propaganda that comes through my letter box
I've only seen Tory posters and our letter box seems to be stuffed with propaganda from every party except for Labour / Lib Dem.
We've had one A5 Labour leaflet.
I think they all shot their load at the recent by-election. That was a strong Lab hold, so it's a done deal that the Lab man will be re-elected in May.
#579 out of 650 constituencies in the Voter Power Index
But the boundaries for my constituency have changed and the Labour incumbent of 26 years (!!) is standing down. No one knows who the new guy is but the Lib Dem one is very active. I'd say it was a little less of a safe seat than they think.
Still, Labour had 45.11% of the vote compared with the Conservatives' 38.86% so I was expecting it to be a little higher than that.
Perhaps it places too much importance on the fact that the seat has not changed hands since 1997?
#57 of 650. Better than most. Lib Dems in at the moment but should be close call between them and Labour this year.
I presume that means I get to vote twice and a bit
Cardiff Central is "very safe".
Not much between Labour and the Tories in West Wirral. Oo-er.
But it's just going to bounce between Labour and the Tories so my vote's still essentially worthless.
If I was back home with mum in Holloway my vote wouldn't count much because Corbyn's got massive support (and so he should - old skool Labour).
Met him before. He's a really really nice person. Anti-war, pro-union and fantastic.
He's got mine.
Washington & Sunderland West ranks #646 out of 650 constituencies in the Voter Power Index.
i think i'm winning so far. winning at having THE LEAST.
might vote tory for a laugh.
More than I expected, to be honest. The Labour MP for my area is really, really good (it was a Conservative safe seat until she came along), so she's likely to continue unless the morons from the council estates decide to do something other than getting drunk in the town centre during the day and all vote SNP.
vote? Might as well just stay at home and pick my bum
Constituency marginality: Ultra safe
Croydon North is a shoe in for Labour
Ultra Safe Yay! :-)
Voters in Bournemouth West have 1.76x more voting power than the UK average.
Brilliant, why the fuck did i choose my house at uni to vote from.
Newcastle East = 0.118 Very Safe
Might as well get ready for the Reds
EVEN BETTER LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
BUT i'm pretty sure it's garbage as this seat hasn't even existed before this election. And they were just on the news saying it was a Conservative target.
The people on the news were fecking horrendous. Sunderland town centre man. "Nah like I won't be voting, not really bothered...er, don't really understand it to be honest" The four people they interviewed all said the same thing. I now realise why Sunderland is always one of the first to be called. BECAUSE ABOUT FIVE PEOPLE VOTE
so i'm probs bias cos i've seen his awful self taken facebook pictures and they make me want to kick him.
i think it's just his eyes on the posters that are a bit rapey though.
definitely has mad eyes of some sort.
