get back to your sweatshop
ally mcCoist :D
Michael Keaton: "Doncha wanna win a cup?!"
why are cinemas making special arrangements for football?
Movies are cool too though
I watch more football than I watch movies.
BUT, I could possibly live without football (GASP. BABY ANGELS DIE, etc), whereas there are some films that I couldn't live without seeing again.
Could I possibly sit any more squarely on the fence?
maybe you WILL make a decent father figure. Request for fence sitting accepted!
you werent asking for permission
*furious sobbing* but hardly ever get to the games since I moved to england. My English team is City, if it's not completely cheating to have 2 teams.
and if they don't they're lying
Movies: pretty shit.
also, alice in wonderland -
"In its first six weeks of release it was seen by 1 in 10 of the UK population, according to the FDA. "
UK takings £40m
the math addeth up
Rather watch films instead
although i like football shaped things (my family's old barbecue, those coca cola bottles they had for a while)
1) Old Boy
2) Arsene Wenger arguing with a referee
4) Other things that have happened in football/other films
2. Turkey scoring in the 121st minute of the Euro 2008 semis after Croatia thought they'd sealed it in the 119th (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di90xV2twi4)
3. Cantona's flying kick
4. The final scene of LOTR: Two Towers when Treebeard and the other Ents mash up the dam and kill all the Orcs below (why the fuck would you build a dam right about a giant industrial centre powered by fire?!)
5. "Typical Germans"
Football is duller than a Kevin Costner marathon
it's also boring as fuck to watch
i used to play rugby for a while, so that kind of freaked me out
in the sense that being emotionally involved in football means you're fucking miserable 90+% of the time and you'll forget about any joy within a week
I'd rather a night in watching a good film than a good football match.
is how I break it down, basically
...Youtube > all other movies >>>>>>> watching a really shit Champions League match
guess which one I'm about to do!!!
but in relative terms I'm probably a film fan rather than a football fan.
Greatest football/film interface: the football game in Kes.
I am not looking forward to the world cup. I like sweepstakes and will join in with the England games however my boyfriend insists on watching EVERY game. My life will be hell for a while.
I can't wait until I can watch EVERY game at the world cup! Even Benin versus Luxembourg...
I dont even really care about films but football has no merit
Obviously. That said, shit films are much more enjoyable than shit football.
