in truth the only way to really stimulate our economy in the long term is to help it develop ideas and products that are wanted over seas that will bring money into britain, rather than having it go the other way. there's a reason the lib dems are positioning themselves like this and committing to the scientific community.
repealing the digital economy bill and giving it a full debate in parliament: that's what I like to see.
(even if it does end up returning to law it's still a far more democratic way of dealing with things than how labour put it through)
the Tories are complicit in that bill getting through in the manner it did as well. If they'd kicked up a fuss along with the Lib Dems, there's no way Labour would have had the bottle to railroad it through the washup period.

Nice to be included though. This kind of stuff is only going to become more important over the years, any party that gets involved and tries to represent the "digital natives" (*shudder*) is making a sensible move.
