It seems to me that when the question about the election/politics in general, the yoof are automatically like: 'man, i would never vote tories - they brought this country TO IT'S KNEES man' - regardless of the party's policies at the present time. Is there really that much emphasis placed on the perceived reputation of the party? Would the perfect manifesto still be overlooked because 'it's the tories'?
Obviously there are a fair few folk who'll be voting tory, and these can't all be ill-informed toffs, so why won't YOU be going blue?
p.s. i'm not a tory, i'm undecided between Green and BNP.
