that we live in such a reactionary world that even people high up in child welfare organisations think the real problem with sexualising children is the child catcher win a hard-on and not the way it alters the child's behaviour, sense of self-esteem and ability to establish relationships later on in life. Oh well.
things like this make me want to throttle people. kids are kids! stop making them into something they're not! it messes everything up!
but I still think terms like the 'paedo pound' stem from a misunderstanding of many of the issues involved in paedophilia and child sexuality. When any news report like this crops up, it always seems that somebody will attribute paedophilia to children being sexualised by fashion and media, and complete neglect the fact that the very thing that most child sex offenders claim attracts them to children is their innocence and child-like nature (so not high heels and padded bras) and that asserting such public sexuality so young actually has bigger consequences on the children involved themselves.
But whateves. Paedos are everywhere and no-one will be safe until everyone who has ever looked at a child has been castrated.
Rant over ...
Even if I do it for money
did you see that agent provacateur or however you spell it have introduced a PRE-TEEN range?
PRE-TEEN. PRE-TEEN. PRE-TEEN.
It's not on, leading men up the garden path like that
But, in a world where fluffy pink Playboy stationery sets exist...
also sad seeing parents dress their kids up in their own image or dressing them up in designer gear. What's wrong with a good old fashioned spiderman outfit with a police helmet?
when i think about the crap i wore growing up...
hand made little mermaid skirt was my fave :D
sounds a bit paedo to me
