should i feel embarrassed or what?
but there's tons of other stuff to eat which is all amazing too. Especially anything you'll get in the Muslim quarter of any given city. If you're going, I'm massively jealous.
Why, you bitch? Are you going?
but I can tell you first hand the food they eat in India is nothing like what we call 'Indian' over here.
after watching that video.
it varies between north and south mainly, but the southern curry are wetter dishes with more vegetables and often tomato based. The north offers more thali with less of the dripping sauce, but with more veg and sometimes meat.
You more often than not get a yoghurt to mix with the rice so it clumps better....mmm i looooove it
mostly its all boiled to death and comes in boiling water...I did have some nice duck pancakes though but we had to go to a special places.
I love our take on chinese food though and its sweet sweet goodness.
but this doesn't tally with my experience at all.
all the menus in China are the same, numbered to 100 (roughly).
and they have pork in absolutely everything. That's how they're all so trim. Imagine if they had all that greasy, sugary shit you get in take-aways like all the time they'd be massive the lot of them.
I saw a Chinese in Morecambe having tins of dog brought in to it one time NO JOKE, never get a Chinese in Morecambe.
well, that, or the zipper scene in There's Something about Mary.
obviously it's a massive country and there are huge differences in the food in different regions. none of what I've had on the times I've been there has been bland. yes, I've never seen a fat Chinese person, and sometimes they do but pork automatically into dishes that don't need it. something might be listed and named as a vegetable dish, but there's pork in it anyway.
it's hard to argue with you on this subject.
some was better here, some was the same, some was worse
