"No one who speaks German could be evil!"
makes her sound like a Ferengi.
'It´s astonishing that only about 11 people could be bothered to go and see Uma Thurman,' - solid gold from Bazza Norman. He could have said 12 but he opted for 'only about 11'. :D
How many screens did it open on? Someone in the comments mentions that it came out on DVD before it went on release...
My favourite stat recently was that some programmes on S4C had no viewers at all (though actually "none" only meant less than a thousand. Still pretty funny though).
UR DOIN IT WRONG
also, a rogue ^this up there
therefore the title of this thread is incorrect.
These might be because it was shit, but it's hardly surprising given that release strategy.
apparently only one person paid to see it last Sunday.
Looks proper shit though.
Either spent revelling in having a whole cinema screen to themselves and maybe taking off their shoes and putting their besocked feet on the seats in front, or feeling a bit uncomfortable and sweating and wondering nervously whether there is some kind of zombie apocalypse / judgement day going on and it's all over the news on the radio and the tv and the world is going to heck and they are just sitting there watching a "very decent movie" starring Uma Thurman
I was given a surprise half day at work and had three hours to fill.
It was much like watching any other film except I didn't switch my phone off and fielded a call during the screening.
Sometimes if I've been driving for a while and only listening to ipod and I haven't seen anyone for a bit I start getting nervous, and the radio doesn't work so I can't even tune in to any national stations to find out if I am driving straight towards a nuclear disaster / zombie uprising / kraken.
you know it must be bad when the film's producer describes it as "a very decent movie"
put them in a room together and see what happens?
If there ever was a DiS mission, this is it!
