Didn't enjoy it.

I went in expecting it to be a remake of the classic animated version of yester-year and I think this is what spoilt it for me. I wanted the same story as the animated version (can't remember if it's the same as the book - the better half's adamant that Dweedle-Dee and Deedle-Dum are only in Through the Looking Glass), but with stunning visuals, like I know Tim Burton can do.

I'm about to read the books again to see how far Burton went in changing the story and to see if the better half's right. Oh, and cos it's a quality couple of books.

Alan Rickman didn't make enough of the blue caterpillar; "Whoooo arrrrrrrrrre youuuuuuuuuu?"

Anyway, not massively impressed.
