i was saying to someone the other day that i'd like a book that just went through the major points of history in a quick, easy-to-understand way. i don't want to read 600 pages on the American civil war, I want a brief history of everything.
It's a really good book.
Maybe not one big book, but they're still small books that are brilliant in every way
I'd like to have a go at circuit bending
Plus 'Man' stuff that I feel that I should know. Cars, oil, spark plug etc.
I already know everything about that, that's why I'm perfect
unfortunately no-one can
and physics in general. I've been staring at an OU prospectus for 6 months but I don't want to sign up to anything before I've prepared with a lot of background reading. Can anyone recommend some good starting points?
(beyond, y'know, the basics)
How to play a musical instrument
Physics and electronics really, I'd love to be able to build my own effects pedals.
I wish I chosen to study electrical engineering rather than mechanical. I'm gonna get a soldering kit and learn the basics online I think. I'm always seeing cool guides for synth hacks and other musical stuff.
Physics in general
Computer programming/Web design
I WANT TO BE A NERD SO BAD
I don't want to be a form-studying melvin, but I'd love to just instinctively know what bets to put on. Mark of a real man, that.
the movie "space jam"
Jesus, I am such a cock.
I'm absolutely clueless i just like to hear sounds, actually i'm happily ignorant.
I just bought a book called 'how parliament works', so i'm hopeful.
How to play poker
How to make a website, put together pictures in paint etc.
A second language (running out of excuses when talking to foreign girls)
How to cook big lumps of meat
Thanks people, it makes me feel a little less like I wasted seven years of my life.
So there was no need for me to lie all those times and say I was studying music therapy?
