Any Irish or people with Irish ancestry on here who don't really celebrate Paddy's Day?

orsonwellesrabbit [Edit] [Delete] 20:27, 17 March '10

I don't. I think mainly because my birthday is the 19th, so cash has to be saved, but I don't think I'd bother even were this not the case. Not out of some curmudgeonly attitude but just because...I dunno. It just doesn't bother me.

How Irish are you, if you are indeed of the Emerald Isles? By way of a sub-thread, you understand. My grandparents on me da's side were full Irish and so were me great grandparents on me ma's side (the latter were travelling folk, so if you want a watch or a dag then ask me in a PM). My dad really wants me to meet a nice Irish girl, too. So would I, actually. The accent is gorgeous (male or female, of course).

Also, whenever I meet a 100% Oirish person I feel like Tony going back to Italy to meet his cousins. Like I'm meeting an original or something.
