Bitching about adverts is a pointless task, seeing as how they are just there to provoke us into buying something and as such neither demand nor deserve our respect (although some smug types still try and create arty "prestige" ads to appear all lofty and respectable. It's still a schill). But the worst offenders have to be these ads where somebody seems to have literally just pitched the last thing they watched before the meeting.

Has anyone seen the Argos advert that has lots of ain't-life-keen dull as fuck 'frustrating' situations set to a blatantly sub-Curb Your Enthusiasm piece of library music? Or the Phones-4-U ads that are just re-shot YouTube videos with a logo at the end?

It annoys me more than I know it should, largely because I know how much these chumps get paid and if they're going to turn this swill loose on the public I at least expect it to be their own swill.
