rly good isnt it?
whats your favourite stroke?
how far can you swim?
how long can you hold your breath?
backcrawl, but it's a bit antisocial
idk, probably 1/2 a mile these days cause i'm not that fit
something pathetic like 10 seconds
Yes, it is really good.
Hmm… Breaststroke is really relaxing, but front crawl is great for feeling speedy.
I dunno. I’ve done a couple of miles before. Once you get up to that level you kind of stop going for distances and instead look at speed and technique.
About a minute, out of the water. If it’s underwater, and whilst swimming, then it’s about a length and a half.
I can swim a length under water oooooooo yeah
Breast stroke is the one I do the most because I've kind of forgotten how to crawl effectively.
I normally do a mile a time but could probably do another half mile on top of that if I could be bothered.
Not very long.
I like outdoor swimming, I've done the Great north swim; oh boy THAT was cold. I REALLY want to get the train to the lido in Hathersage one day in the summer & I believe there are some good ones in Ilkley and Nantwich too.
Oh and I want to go to all the places listed in Wild Swimming, ALL OF THEM Y'HEAR?
It made a list of top ten lidos or something, hmm.
never been in it
on my amazon wishlist for ages.
i used to swim competitively, and train 6 - 8am before school and 4 - 6pm after school. every day. and 6 - 8am on saturday mornings.
i can swim a long way. i usually try to do about 3000m every time i go these days though.
i was best at breaststroke.. i used to be county champion :D and went to districts and everything. and we won the school championship.
in conclusion, i used to be good at swimming. now, i enjoy it.
MsWza & I felt like a pair of damp doggers.
but I'm kinda self conscious about going there for some reason.
Um I'm not sure, it's been too long :(
Can't rly hold my breath too long.
Miles and miles
Stop breathing & write it on a postcard
The old man's stroke - breast stroke.
When I go, I usually do 30-50 lengths, so ~750-1250m at a time.
I've been known to do the odd full 25m length underwater.
YES. SWIMMING! Maybe I'll go tonight!
i'm better at going long distances than going very fast, and i used to be quite good at swimming across the pool with my body about 1cm away from the pool floor. i like breast stroke best, but not swimming on my back.
this is my favourite swimmer: http://preview.tinyurl.com/yg6a5j4
Why does it require so much leg effort to stop me from sinking? I'm exhausted after like two lengths.
