But did you see the long-sleeved one on Tom Meighan the other week, and how cool it looked? This gives me a dilemma. Do I go for long or short sleeved?

Normally it's short-sleeved all the way, and I have the home kit in short sleeved - but that has a collar. This doesn't so I think long sleeved might be the way.
