best. feeling. ever.
But yeah, PRETTY GOOD. Well done.
in an exam for one of my module i only revised one topic out of two questions to do. I was three marks off a first and it was my highest mark. Ridiculous.
Another one...well, my mark was a low 2:2 but i was expecting a third, so, :D
other two, as expected.
Proper happy tho. Never expected this considering my previous record with exams.
I may be drunk now.
Also, can I hijack this thread to ask if someone can please explain the UK grades system (i.e. the whole 2:1 2:2 thing)? How does it all translate into old style A, B, C, D, F (or high distinction, distinction, credit, pass, fail)?
1st = A
2:1 = B/C
2:2 = C/D
3rd = you just wasted 3 years of your life
I dont even know if that is right, I never went to Uni
we have the ABCDEF thing up till university level
with 2:1 and 2:2 being 2A and 2B respectively.
I'm assuming 3rd isn't actually a fail, so
1st = A/High Distinction
2A = B/Distinction
2B = C/Credit
3rd = D/Pass
1st is 70% plus
2.1 is 60% plus
2.2 is 50% plus
3rd is 45% plus
Pass is 40% plus
below 40 is a fail.
I think, some places set it differently (St. Martins are 10% higher or so i've been told).
Hons refers to the type of degree not the grade you get. Its something to do with how many modules and credits you need to complete the degree.
I thought i'd done really badly on some coursework recently and actually got a 1st.
and we had to wait ages for them to be marked. but i got 74%. i nearly cried when i got the results.
well done in your exams verbal
