• DHMO will kill you if you breath it.
• It mutates the tips of your fingers if you touch it.
• It's found in pretty much every home in the UK.
Check http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html or http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2209660662 to see if you're likely to be affected.
not really, i breathe dihydrogen monooxide vapour all the time, especially when boiling a kettle.
I can accept the 3rd bullet point though.
just a temporary change in appearance, unless it's boiling in which case it's still not a mutation, but the change in appearance would be more permanent.
My dihydrogen monooxide fear has been abated slightly.
Does the hot dihydrogen monooxide vapour not scald you?
I never watch an old foggy London scene in a film and think "burn victims"
Should be banned or least very heavily taxed.
Isn't that just water?
If ever a ban request was warranted, this was surely it.
That is the joke.
You've kind of killed it now, though.
Curse my recollection of Year 9 chemistry/the success of this joke relying on the fact that it doesn't sound like a joke.
Curse both these things.
