Gotta be rails for me
especially when you also have to do a ++post reappearer++ post
i liked when you could do a scrolling marquee thing in your profile.
I'm also fond of disappearing threads: most of the shit ones I start don't stick around for long (present company excepted)
It was something like "what new foodstuffs have you tried recently?" and was started by Bamnan in homage to his recent discovery of mustard.
Could have been a winner.
and then sticky that sucker and get rid of the sticky that has died.
But I think we can agree that any method offered by whiterussian can't be right.
the old day rails i mean.
so much time for a thread called "sex game rape"
the glory days
Gives me hope.
you'd go to the forums and be confronted by a white screen blemished with the word 'RAILS' and not much else.
"Rails has been criticized for issues with scalability."
I'm going to move my only Rails site to PHP for the next version.
I'm on the verve of a giggling fit. It's my own fault I suppose.
UR DOIN IT RONG
They're my top two. And by top two, I mean most annoying.
Especially when your post gets put in the wrong place, so you post again saying 'why is this here?' and then the thread gets rebuilt with your original post in the correct place.
but my faves were all limited to the day or two following the last major overhaul, when people couldn't tell who was posting what:
Was also one where you could exploit a lag between clicking post and the "post reply" button blanking out, so you could re-post the same comment dozens of times, but I can't find it. And, oh how hard I tried to find it
and it gave everyone the same user name. That thread was probably my favourite of all time.
