I've become very heavily interested in it. You ever do that? Where you have a "thing" you're interested in for a while, and you study everything about it intensely at the expense of everything else? Or is that autism? I've just finished an Iraq War "thing" and now I'm onto this (since watching The godfather t'other night).

SICILIAN Mafia, though. The American one is quite boring and tired.

NOT the Camorra or 'Ndrenghata(<<is that right?) or Sacra Corona Unite. I've read Gomorrah, of course, which is a brilliant book, and I've seen the first 30 minutes of the film, but I guess my heart is with the Zips, so to speak.

I've read Cosa Nostra by John Dickie, but I'm looking for some more detail about The Mattanza in the 80s and what it's like today. Any help would be cool.

What's your "thing" that you're into atm, anyway?
