leaving my current one, and starting a new one (which is pretty intense from the sounds of it).

I really want to make the most of my week off between the two, but at such short notice i can't really organise something with anyone.

JUST HOW REALISTIC is a trip to new york, going alone? Has anyone done this? I could do something similar in Europe for a lot cheaper i guess...
