I feel that I should blog. Everyone blogs don't they? It's not exactly peer pressure, being forced into something I don't want to do - more a sense that I'm not doing something that I should.

I write reviews for this site, and when I graduate I hope to do a lot more of this "writing about music" lark. Career-wise, do I risk being left behind if I don't have a space for regularly sharing my opinions? I suspect the answer is yes.

In which case, what the hell do I blog about? I mean, music, obviously. But there's so much out there already, I don't fancy just writing 'Saw a band tonight. They were good. Singer was a bit annoying'. How important is it to find an innovative way of articulating yourself?
