Probably not going to the pub cos it's being redecorated.
probably. either that or Mass Effect til the early morning. It's snowing really heavy today so i might get a lift home from the girl that sits opposite me.
of kid's birthday parties at a soft play centre, casseroles and happyland.
There's this amazing one somewhere in Wales with a giant spiders web you had to bounce your way through. It was like Fun House/Finders Keepers.
An adult-sized soft play centre would be a money spinner.
I never really got to them when I was a kid. My daughter is so lucky to be a 2 year old now.
They deffo have the giant spider web. It's amazing. I was so gutted when I got to be too tall to have a go.
Going to Peterborough tomorrow (hi Meths) to see the folks and watch my brother's band.
Oh and winter olympics until 5am tonight.
Sadly, the Surgens are no more :(
He's in a new band that I've never heard or seen before. Until tomorrow!
Out tonight wi ma homeboy in camden.
The morrow sees us taking in indoor paintballing and then to stringfellows new place for a stag do. I fucking hate strip joints and i will be making a hasty exit.
Sunday back up to glasgow and maybe go see cymbals eat guitars.
I have photos of my new wee dog but for some reason canny post them :(
Tell me all about him! And sort it aaaaht with the pics mate :)
The band are called the travelling band. They are kind of folky and they have a lovely version of waterfall out just now on itunes. JAG
Just bounces all over the place and its almost impossible to leave the house.
We all just sat in a big circle and anytime he did anything, be it a sneeze, bark, piss we all did the collective 'aaaawwwhhhh' :D
I will sort the picture situation out soon.
Cool, well i may try and get along to see them? They good? (non biased opinion please :)
IT IS MAKING ME ACHE
He sounds absolutely amazing, and i'm simultaneously delighted for and jealous of you. In the nicest possible way :-) Can't wait to see the pics!
Yeah, if you like folky stuff, you'll love them. They're technically all amazing musicians, which in itself is a joy to watch/hear. Also, for a folky outfit, they have an asbolutely HUGE sound, loads of percussion it and loads of energy. My slight hesitation is that sometimes I feel they border on the twee side (and I'm quite sure it's deliberately tongue in cheek), but I'll say no more in case they google themselves and land on this. In which case, Jo and Adam, I LOVE YOU :-)
has made me soooo homesick. I was home on wednesday night for a flying visit of 7 hours (long story), 4 of which were spent sleeping, so I used my remainning 3 hours glues to my tiny girls. Dogs are the best :)
Cool well i might check em out then as i do like my folky stuff.
That is a flying visit, particularly cos you slept for most of it :)
Going the pub later with new housepeople and have absolutely NO PLANS otherwise.
Might apply for a job on Sunday. Am very likely to read a lot of books and clean some plates.
Driving to Essex tomorrow so my ladyfriend can phone the long lost family members with her bro.
Coming back up on Sunday. Will try and squeeze in some football watching / Metroid Prime playing.
Did you just dive in with the last of the trilogy or start from the beginning? I should pick it up again really...
I'm bloody loving it. Best game I've played on the Wii so far I think. The controls are an ever-giving, eternal joy and I love how hard you have to examine the environment to use it to your advantage.
There is a fair bit of back tracking, but everytime I enter a new room I have a new ability and therefore it's dynamic totally changes.
Cannot recommend it enough so far.
I was quite enjoying it but somehow just stopped playing it. However, I do have the day to myself tomorrow although I may get back on Super Mario Bros which I got halfway through and then forgot about... and then there is World of Goo.
I'm now highly disciplined and won't start a new game until I finish the last one.
Unless it's on the iPhone or something like a puzzler which you can dip in and out of (like World of Goo in fact)...
i might make an early appearance.
Some indie night at Boogaloo instead
and then there's a Q&A with Jean-Pierre Jeunet afterwards.
Anyone got anything they want me to ask?
...Do you ever feel that the overt stylisation of your films distracts the viewer somewhat from forming an emotional connection with your characters? And, if so, do you ever think you'll be able to make a film which is not so self-conciously quirky?
I don't entirely endorse the above, by the way, I'd just want to look clever when standing up in front of other people to ask a question...
It came around on the members' mailing list.
if I can pull myself out of bed after my afternoon disconap. Also meeting he whose middle name aint thor for drinks at the pub next to my house at some point. Oooft, messymessy.
Oh, and I'm going to buy a TV (separate thread coming up). I'm hugely excited about this, in the manner of a child on santa's knee when santa has a boner. I've not had a tv in ages, not really had the time or inclination. BUT I've decided to cut down on my evenings out and take a bit better care of myself. The tv is THE ANSWER.
No plans at all for Saturday. If my chiropractor says i'm allowed, I may go to bikram yoga and then meet a friend for tea. Hopefully, I will be on the sofa watching MY TV all of saturday night :-D
Sunday, I hope to be doing yoga and WATCHING MY TV. Sunday night, I'm going to a party for my friend who is leaving next week to cycle across vietnam for a month for charity. (yeah right, Basically, me and my mates are paying for him to fuck off on holiday for a month and do a bit of exercise here and there). I am going to 'carb-load' him good & proper with zombies and tequila/jager hand grenades and ruin all of his hard training, mwahaha. This is the friend who tried to kiss my boyfriend WITH TONGUES last weekend, and then sexed my housecat, so revenge is well overdue.
do the opposite.
I normally am, but he totally sorted my neck out on Wednesday. I was literally crippled Sunday to Wednesday, and when i wok on thursday- miracle! (It's back again now, right enough. Shit.)
doesn't this count as libel as far as their concerned?
I *think* they have to prove it's not true, which means you're in the clear. FIRE.
saturday - working a projector at the opening of a French designer lingerie shop in Mayfair
sunday - kicking loads of lingerie models out of my bed, obviously
Those models, always wanting to sleep with a film director
I really just want it to be over. I can't handle all this fiddling around with every last little word.
But I guess there is new criminal minds tonight. So that should be good.

Dead By Sunrise, the new band fronted by Chester Bennington, lead singer for multi-platinum, two-time Grammy-winning rock band Linkin Park, announce their first UK headline show at Londons HMV Forum on 19th February 2010.
In actual fact I'm going to Reykjavik rather than Kentish Town.
make you so, so thirsty though, be sure to have plenty of beer on hand to remedy that!
Add drinking some beer to my weekend plans.
to see god is an astronaut and spend about £25 or to miss it, go to a bar crawl instead and spend about £10? i'm skint and should be staying in and studying either way though :(

Me and moousee would come. Maybe.

THAT'S THE POWER I HAVE.
Come tomorrow if you want. It's near the coast and everything. It's going to be fucking freezing.

Monday - Day off / mixing
I have the bf over today and may see a great old friend I've not met up with in ages tonight, or go to this dj night of a dude I'd like to be friends with, but he fancies me and I don't particularly feel like dealing with that atm, or may just laze it up at home if my bf spends the night, as he's unable to break from studying for lengthy periods atm.
Tomorrow my house is hosting a party I've not got particularly high hopes for. If I can't get this one group of friends to break their sheeplike let's-go-to-the-DePaul-douchebag-hangout-every-weekend-thing, I think it will be a failure.
Sunday, god knows.
