although i fear for the long term future of the event if things aren't spiced up slightly
Also, it's on for 1 1/2 hours. Bit much?
also worried about it being primetime and bbc1 that all the chumps are going to start watching it.
and we still have the brilliant masterchef australia on channel watch to keep us going if this is bunkum.
need to see some really bad and great cooking in opening shows to keep the interest going.
the judges are awful, the contestants are awful and they make up words. 'it really enrichens the sauce' "enriches" was devised for this reason dont add to it.
Torode or whatever the fug his name is needs to get out immediately, he's dreadful and brings the mediocre out of Gregg.
Roux Jr was genuinely worth listening to and made Gregg into a character of considerable comic value because he was nearly as in awe of him as the contestants were.
About 6 people cried they were so happy with Roux's comments in The Professionals series, nobody's going to be overwhelmed by Gregg or John bellowing "oh, mate that is a really top drawer coulis".
Also an hour and a half is utter folly if that's every episode. just means there'll be twice as much jizzing around with back stories. It's not the fucking X Factor!
shouty gregg is just an embarrassment, whilst the patronsing aussie can do one. They should have a rotating presenter team of Jeff Stelling, Paul Merson, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas.
One of the barmen in our office bar is going to be on. He told me all about it in shrieky terms the day before he was due to go for filming. He hasn't spoken much about it since, so I guess he didn't get through.
