my blackbery is playing up, the battery keeps running down, the rollerball isnt working barely (ive done the thing that is supposed to fix it) and generally its being a bit annoying

i've had it over a year which means its out of warranty, but i have an 18 month contract... i went into the orange shop and they basically said i have to pay for it to be fixed... which seems like a bit of a crock to me?

advice please
