My dad lives in the constituency of Kevan Jones MP (Under Secretary of State for Defence and Minister for Veterans) and for the first time ever the BNP are contesting the seat.

Rather than race, immigration or Britishness they're campaigning purely on defence issues and putting up an ex-soldier as their candidate.
The key policies are:
- Get out of Iraq (?!)
- Get out of Afghanistan
- Withdraw from NATO
- Withdraw from Germany and other foreign postings
- Remove all foreign (see American) servicemen posted in the UK
- Increase military spending on an expeditionary force to protect our remaining territories
