Supermarket etiquette
I was asked in the supermarket the other day by someone shorter than me if I'd mind getting the produce they were after from a high shelf. It may have been dairy related, I forget. I did so with a smile, and went about my way.
However later on I wanted something from a lower shelf, and despite some back pain and a short person being in the vacinity, I got it myself. Would it have been socially acceptable to ask the shorter person to get it for me?It seems to work the other way round...
