Poor show really - he should have been given a drive somewhere - too many struggling teams looking for pay drivers this time round. On Mercedes' part it makes sense though - he's easily the most capable guy around to come in if it does turn out that Schumacher's body can't cope with racing.
New Renault looks like a Jordan c.1998. I like.
New Toro Rosso is incredibly fugly. Don't like.
Nice to see Sauber putting in some reasonable times, even if chances are they were pretty lightly fueled and are just after sponsors. Does look a little like Ferrari are slightly ahead of the pack at the moment though.
Guess he thought he may as well go as a reserve driver for a good team than a racing driver for a new/poor one. Still, this could potentially see the end of his F1 racing career. That said, I hope it doesn't, and if Pedro De La Rosa can come back, then Nick can.
