probably a bit "man marries goat" but something to start your day off:
I got 42/46
The one I didn't get can really and truly get to fuck.
I got really frustrated trying to work out why Sussex wasn't an answer.
Strange that Manchester and London are their own counties but Birmingham isn't.
i had a mental block in the midlands and was also convinced that herefordshire and worcestershire were counties in their own right.
Mainly because I saw it there and just hazarded putting it in.
I did think it was a bit of a shit one. Where's the romantic naming?
So you got the rest, then sat there wondering what the small county off the South coast was?
I thought I'd missed out some small administrative district somewhere in the north west.
i think that's what threw me.
there's no such county as humberside any more
this thread is null and void - theo, delete it
(i got 42. including humberside)
I had you down as a cert.
(What's in place of Humberside now? Or did they just sink it?)
and the ones i didn't get were mostly in the north east. and frankly, i don't really care about that - the north east is a silly part of england that probably shouldn't exist
oh, and buckinghamshire. again: who cares about buckinghamshire?
mental note: don't invite brusma to house warming.
and i'll tell you why: buckinghamshire doesn't actually exist. it's a myth made up to scare guardian-reading, mocha-quaffing, houmous-eating, islington-dwelling liberals
think i should tell them how out of place they're going to be?
middle england doesn't exist and England is actually a doughnut-shaped island with a big lake in the middle.
and i believe that rutland has been reinstated as a county
much harder than it looks!
i got it. but its not a county.
Got a run of 7 in a row though. I'm going to try again.
i didn't know sussex was two, and that it wasn't herefordshire, and basically those ones in the middle that my train doesn't go through.
How is London a county? And what's the point of having two parts to Sussex? And why are there so many counties in the South? So stupid.
I got everything north of Lincolnshire anyhow, which is all that counts really.
the rest can gtf
There's Good Yorkshire, Bad Yorkshire, Worse Yorkshire & Isn't Actually Yorkshire At All.
i think you might be referring to "Up It's Own Arse, Cunty Bit of Yorkshire".
but the more i think about it, the bit i'm from is like that TOO. i guess it's like bamos said
I was smug as fuck when I typed that in, only to be DENIED.
It just doesn't work. I don't like West or South, but I'll at least accept their validity.
I know there are signs up around there saying so.
originating in antiquity
humberside is the phony county - existing for only 22 years
A59/A56 around Thornton in Craven.
the surrounding area would get dwarfed in terms of importance and money.
It's not the only one, Manchester has its own county too. As does Newcastle. And Liverpool.
Mostly in the West of the country. Couldn't spell Gloucestershire properly and thought Herefordshire and Worcestershire were separate counties. It didn't pick up Merseyside either, so presumable spelt that wrong too.
cunt off, cleveland
Much like peterborough.
Definitely typed in west and east sussex as well.
I don't trust that quiz.
It's going to be quite the hit, I can tell.
AND I WAS TYPING IN "ZAIRE" AGAINANDAGAINANDAGAIN
it's a dependent of denmark
these quizzes are shocking

FROM THE MO'FUGGIN PAST.
can't quite make it work.
25 but I'm sure there were at least 3 that I had right but it wasn't accepting.
and I'm Scottish. Kept puting Tyne and Weir for some reason. The midlands and the home counties are really diffilcult to remember.
