Have you ever bought anything from Jack O'Shea?
yes, i have. great butcher. best beef in london.
atom_jack used to work for him. he has less kind words to say but agrees that the meat is incredible. note: jack o shea himself has a concession in selfridges food hall, whilst the original shop in knightsbridge is now run by darragh o'shea, his brother. the knightsbridge shop is known as O'Shea's and the selfridges concession is called Jack O'Shea.
How was it priced? Describe the eating experience in lavish detail.
only beef though, actually. chuck steak, minced; onglet; rib-eye on the bone; brisket; oxtail; flank steak.
i've got my eye on a 1kg porterhouse but that would set me back about £40... soon.
the prices are what you'd expect for the best butcher in london, in a high end shop and in a high end area. what are you after?
the beef there tastes how beef should taste. rib eye aged for 45 days - unbeatable. their cattle is incredible.
whoa! Now I'm interested.
what are you thinking of cooking?
You just have to request an invite to the dining club btw. Want a link?
I just want someone to care. I just want someone to think "You know who'd enjoy this? Adam. Adam would enjoy this. Let's invite him."
I'd probably just buy a couple of steaks and sear them on each side. Maybe a cut I haven't tried before. The bife chorizo sounds nice.
If you want her place at the table?
"Hey Adam, Timmy can't come to my birthday party anymore, so my mummy said I could invite you." Where are you going?
49 Camberwell Church Street, London SE5 8TR
you can be my date.
Plus the website has embedded mp3s, and that puts me off slightly. But thank you very much for the offer.
Did you start the DiS Dining Club thing on Facebook? I wasn't invited to join. I took it personally.

been around about 10 years longer than the London ones.
I like jack o'sheas
