really gets my goat.

steve and i were discussing this in the pub on saturday and i wonder what my fellow DiSers think.

i think the idea that marriage is the key to 'fixing broken britain' is a load of old bobbins.

rubbish parents wont be made better by getting a marriage certificate, single parents families do fine. one good parents is better than two bad ones, or one good and one rubbish.

in fact marriage makes it difficult for people to get away from destructive/emotionally/violently abusive relationships.

im really rubbish at making a point on this internet so im hoping someone more articulate will agree with me....
