I have never owned, nor have I worn, or even desired to own or wear, cufflinks. In fact, I'm not really sure what the point of them is, practically. My shirt cuffs have always managed to remain, erm, cuffed without the assistance of shiny things atached them. Is that the attraction? The shinyness?

Tell me about cufflinks and why I should maybe take a greater interest in them. Or when it is the custom to wear them. Maybe I've just never been in a cufflink-appropriate situation...
