Last night, I touched in at Harrow & Wealdstone only to be informed by a conveniently well hidden sign that trains between Harrow and Watford Junction had been replaced by buses. That was quite annoying. So, I touched back out and was charged 70p for the priviledge. EXCEPT... It turns out I was actually charged £6.70 for the priviledge. The fuckers at TFL completely wiped the balance on my Oyster card. Now, I know that on the face of it £6.70 isn't that much money, but after the usual 10 minute journey took me more than an hour, the 20% price hikes and the ridiculous utilisation of the rail replacement buses (good use of time there lads, letting them stack up outside the station doing SFA) I saw red.

I emailed them last night asking for a full refund, but also started making points about my displeasure at being made to cover budget shortfalls brought about by the cancellation of the Western extension of the Congestion Charge. Something that may well undermine my point.

Anyway, TFL - cunts.
