this is why no TV show should ever go over 7 seasons. apart from South Park, and the Simpsons

though the finale was a bit lame.

And yeah the final series of Roseanne is just painful.

It was a rather sour last episode really, felt a lot like Larry David coming back just to flip everyone the proverbial finger.

The Bill was great for about 20 years.
and suggest you check the ending of the US version of Life On Mars, which only ever had one series so didn't even get to run out of inspiration.

because it's such a strong shared memory of old telly, and you don't stop to think that it's actually highly racially dubious from first to last.
The follow-up advert loosely based on Prince Buster's Judge Dread was good, though.
