Highlight of the week for me was this bit, 3:10 in:

His spot this week wasn't so strong but that first one was the show highlight for me.
Fine comedian. Has done a bunch of great live comedy CDs that are fully worth tracking down. "Something to take the Edge Off" in particular.
Don't try to resolve it. Or analyse it. Or find justification for it. Or work out whether it's a double/triple/quarduple bluff. Or whether it's sincere, or absurd.
Revel in it's whimsy.
It's good for you, like bran fibre.
