It begins. I am going to try and do a couple of half-marathons in July/August, so I need to shape up.
I'm a slim chap,but super unhealthy underneath it all - the drugs, booze and diet have NOT been conducive to me living past 30, and I'd quite like to.
So: any runners who can help? There seem to be a million different sort of trainers out there (what the hell is structured cushioning??)
I'm going to start with a 3-miler every morning and go from there. What sort of time would be good to aim at?
Any other advice? Anyone want to join me on my challenge and start hitting some half-marathons this summer?
