if you haven't seen this and like any of this sort of thing, look it up on youtube (or if you're in london come to bardens boudoir tomorrow where we're screening it), it made me well up a bit lastnight.

for those who haven't seen it, it's about a newlywed couple who have been bought a plot of land and a build it yourself house as a wedding gift. buster keaton sets about building the house in earnest. there's this bit where his wife draws two hearts with an arrow through them on the side, makes you go awww. obviously it doesn't go quite to plan, but it's really sweet nonetheless. reminds me a bit of that scene at the end of City Lights.
