what's the proper name of this song?
i'll describe it thus:
- it's instrumental, with the melody played on violin, i think
- quite chirpy and upbeat but classical
- used loads in TV programmes when someone's busying around doing housework in a 50s housewife fashion
- for those of you who are music-theory-minded - the first eight notes are fairly staccato quavers (is that the term for half a beat?) - notes 1,2 and 3 on the name (quite high) pitch and the fourth note an octave below, then repeat pattern for notes 5,6,7 and 8.
any ideas?
doop
nah it's not that
doesn't sound like Arrival of the Queen of Sheba does it?
that's semiquavers and arpeggios
nah my sister-in-law came in to her wedding to this
so i know it's not that.
the song sounds faintly comic
