'How To Lose Friends And Alienate People': worst movie adaptation ever?

archie2 [Edit] [Delete] 10:27, 18 January '10

Just read the book, which I thought was pretty good and enjoyable (even though Toby Young isnt half as charming/cuddly as he thinks he is) so I thought i'd check out the film. BIG MISTAKE! - I honestly think this is the worst adaptation of a book (worse than David Lynch's Dune) its ever been my misfortune to witness. I cant think of one single good thing to say about it. It makes the work of Richard Curis look like something penned by Ken Loach. Mr Young has a 'co-producer' credit too, so he can take a good portion of the blame. Anyone else had their eyes and ears assaulted by this celluloid car-crash?
