Fabregas has a fantastic game and inspires Arsenal to a 2-0 win over Bolton and the Reebok. Owen Coyle will get his change to avenge the defeat pretty snappily but most probably won't manage it. If Arsenal win by at least a two-goal margin, they'll take the top spot on goal difference. For any Gooners interested, Hull-Chelsea has been rescheduled for Feb 2nd. Guess what the next game after that is?
Villa and West Ham draw 0-0, Blackburn's centre backs both score in a 2-0 win over Fulham, other stuff may have happened. I was too busy watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vkt_U2FQmwc over and over again to really notice.
Other stuff, let's see... Essien is rushed to hospital, which terrifies me to my very core. I love that man. He seems pretty sure it's nothing to worry about though. In other news, Joe Cole edges closer to signing a new Chelsea contract so sorry Harry, but you'll have to direct someone else's signing-on fee through an off-shore account, Liverpool bid to sign Kenwyne Jones on loan (sounds like madness) and one of the more revolutionary Man Utd supporter groups have asked Fergie to resign as the ultimate protest against the Glazers.
