with a little thank you note from the directors: pretty sweet.
How's everyone else's evening going?
Just decided I'm gonna book me a trip to Paris this weekend.
What was the bubbly for?
but I was out of the office at meetings for most of the final week of last year, so I missed it.
I got into the office today at about 7pm, and it was there, in a little red bag.
Paris, eh? Aren't they having colder weather than us at the moment?
I'll have to layer up I suppose.
pretty cold, but Cov v Portsmouth on the old telly box and contemplating tea, so it should be a good evening.
followed by a lemon cheesecake.
its a classic.
The future's bright, the future's orange.
my flatmates went to the cinema. they never invite me. yet, when i invite them, they never come. i'm just putting it down to us all doing different things at different times. but, i don't know. i have to have that awkward "are we going to live together next year?" talk with them soon, and i just don't know what to say.
apart from that, i had a nice supper, and did some sewing, and made a mixtape.
You just transported me 4 years back in time. Get it out of the way soon is my advice, horrible having the issue hang over you.
it happens every year, and everyone always frets over it but feels so much better when it's out in the open.
i'd feel a bit better about it if i had someone/somewhere else in mind, but at the moment i just don't have a clue.
I'm assuming that it's until the next academic year - that's loads of time to sort yourself out with somewhere to live.
i have until may, which is STACKS of time. but people start looking so early, it always makes me nervous.
Just win 'em over with your charm.
Just woken up, had a little schluff on my sofa after work. Also pleasant.
Had a dinner of peanut butter on toast. Just going to read for the rest of the evening I reckon. So yeah, pretty good I haver to say.
i keep forgetting to buy actual food when i go shopping so i'm in a permanent state of hunger, doing nothing is getting boring, it won't stop snowing, i don't have my loan yet, my cat got put down yesterday, i miss having men around, i don't know if i want to be here any more :/
doing my last essay before i can start revising. I'm pulling an all nighter to get it finished, and also because we're practically snowed in on campus now.
maybe started some writing
got very nice boots
possibly got a mirri being delivered this weekend!
OH GOD CROQUE MONSIEUR YOU WILL BE MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE.
had goat in bread earlier from a place called mooli's, on 50 frith st in soho. absolutely great sandwich. i might even start a thread about the place. i love it.
mooli's is a place that does "moolis". hadn't heard of them before but it's basically an indian burrito, but instead of using a tortilla they use roti. delicious roti. the goat mooli had tomatoes, potatoes, onions and slow cooked goat. absolutely wonderful. a little bit of a spicy kick but with smoky flavours of dry roasted spices and freshness from the tomatoes (surprisingly good tasting for january...). if you're in soho you must give it a try. they're such nice guys as well.
oh the beef mooli is also good, and the chicken one too. not tried the pork or the paneer one but will do.
lunch time deal is 5 quid for a mooli, bag of poppadoms (real good ones), dips and a drink. let me know if you go.
I went to go and give blood but found out that I can't, which was disappointing. I am now sat in front of the TV watching nothing but changing channel every thirty seconds or so.
