The BBC are showing the next season of this at stupid-o-clock (midnight-ish, 2 episodes back to back) but I urge fans of the UK one to tape/sky+ or whatever because it's just as good as Sugar and Co. They argue more, act like a bunch of stupid kids, say "YOU GOTTA STEP UP" about 10 times every episode and whoever doesn't STEP UP always gets fired. Plus Donald Trump's amazing hair.
They ran the first 2 episodes last week, some right morons on board. SOME NOTES:
Tarek - memember of mensa, became team leader the first week, was terrible. Only saved from being fired because some mouthy woman called Summer, who when asked what she did on the task couldn't answer the question.
There's a guy called Brent who Ricky Gervais must have met at some point. Either that, or he's trying to emulate the character Gervais created because of the namesake. For instance, during the second task where they had to get people on the street to text a number regarding Gilette razors, he started to do loads of really cringeworthy dance moves. He was also wearing a dressing gown and a sandwich board.
The cheerleader from Heroes seems to be in this as one of the contestants, and she's a lot smaller.
There's a British guy who comes across as a bit of a Mazda and a big Russian called Lenny who I really want to win because he's the only one who seems to know how to play the game: i.e. stay out of the boardroom.
Seriously, tv gold. Anyone else been watching?
