What's that all about?
is a raging cunt.
Mother in laws, eh? What's that all about?
TAKE MY WIFE, TRY THE FISH, YOU'VE BEEN A LOVELY AUDIENCE.
man u have won most things domestically for years. and they have a lot of fans not from manchester.
plus its a lancs vs yorks thing.
Plus their squad is comprised of a bunch of pricks, especially:
Neville, Rooney, Evra, Brown, Evans, Ferdinand, Nani, Anderson, Berbatov.
Plus Berbatov ain't a prick, have you ever heard anything he's said ever? He's like a poet, a really depressed poet lacking in self-confidence.
“I will be honest. This criticism did affect me, but not in a negative way. I looked at our ProZone stats and saw that I was ninth in distance covered. I am kind of a nerd. I looked at them too much, maybe.”
"I read a book recently and the book started saying unless you have beauty and grace, you are powerless to win a heart. I like to play like that, with beauty and grace. I like to do stuff like that."
so that would make him the second laziest player in the team? congrats. unless he meant out of both teams?
he went on to say after seeing the stats he's got himself up to 4th and that he hopes to be 1st by the end of the season. Though only a mad man would think that was likely.
and people who hate leeds are idiots?
the real answer is that man u have a massive amount of "fans" who have never been to a game, live nowhere near manchester and live in some other part of the country where there arent any successful premiership clubs nearby. the same types that call into talksport from essex and say sack furguson after a string of so so performances.
leeds have had a history of dirty/agressive players, billy bremner, norman bite yer legs hunter, through to vinnie jones david batty, alan smith, jody morris; basically players that youd hate if they were playing for any other team apart from your own. coupled that with a bad reputation for hooliganism (although not too bad anymore looking at recent stats). recent fans have no reason to hate leeds other than the fact that everyone hates leeds, unless you are unfortunate enough to support a team who have played in league 1 over the past 3 years.
my opinion as a leeds fan anyway
he's clearly a borderline mental. can't wait for his sitcom.
co starring ji sung park? i dont think that could fail to be hilarious
...I mean, most football teams are comprised of pricks on the field. People just like to take it out on those who happen to be brilliant and successful.
i don't know really.
because Man Utd have been the best team for over the past decade. Of course there have been blips but they have always been up there. Pretty much 99% of hate for them is related to this whatever people say. Same reason everyone use to hate Liverpool.
Leeds fans are twats
In the 19 years that I've lived, Manchester United's dominance has led them to be the most well-supported club in the country. The people that have grown up around me have picked United up as their team to support around the time we were all about 9 or 10 - 1999, the year they did their treble.
Their arrogance is irritating. Their expectance to win is even more annoying. Take the other day for example. They're out of the FA Cup - yet their fans DEMAND change. They want heads to roll, be it in the board room, the squad or even the management. "Manchester United DON'T LOSE. We don't pay our money to watch this. We didn't come all the way from North London to watch THIS."
I know a handful of actual Mancs who are losing patience.
On the other hand - the chants that come from the Stretford End are superb. But I can't think of any other club with as many 'anti-other team' songs than United. They sing more about City, Leeds and us than they do about themselves.
Obviously I'm also jealous. I've grown up in Liverpool's least successful era since the 1950s and 60s.
i don't think we've some god given right to win everything. sure i was disappointed losing to feckin leeds but i'm not looking for some mass purge in the team or something ridiculous. i trust ferguson and really thankful for everything he's done for the club. and if god forbid we nosedived and slid down a couple of leagues in a couple of years, i wouldn't support them any less.
...etc who want change. Same with any team. Listen to 606 for a bit (actually, don't).
I'm talking about people in pubs at the bar you get talking to.
I don't think United fans of this generation realise how good their team actually is. They don't seem grateful. They seem anxious and bitter.
even in the 70's and 80's when Liverpool were dominant. Also I know lots of Liverpool fans that live nowhere near the club as a result of their success in the 80's. I think any big successful club has a lot of gloryhunting fans with a superficial interest in the sport.
I like them. We were big rivals before my time but that rivalry's long dead. It's like our rivalry with Forest or whatever.
We both hate United. We both share a canal. We both have great histories.
In the words of kik: small time.
the rivalries are fierce and very important.
like i said earlier though, listen to our songs...
- walk alone
- fields of anny road
- steve gerrard songs
- we shall not be moved
- gary mac the knife
I can't even remember singing anything on Anfield about anyone else.
United's probably the opposite. I can't remember hearing a song that doesn't mention anyone else.
Because of the Leeds game.
listen mate, not gonna carry on arguing with ya (probably cos i have about a million essays to do).
Ive a lot of respect for Liverpool's history, as all proper football fans should, and I know taking the mick out of ye at the moment is ridiculous after what we went through in the 80s. Swings and roundabouts, innit.
...FEEEEEEED THE SCOUUUUUUUUUUSERS.
and gary mac mentions "blue scum" doesn't it?
and yeah true but at it came about around the time they didnt do the silence for hillsborough so i think you can forgive us for being a bit upset.
we do have an awful lot of songs about other teams though, and they're the best sort anyway.
like I said earlier I think your chant-writers are probably the wittiest in the league.
I wouldn't change United fans for the world though. I love the banter. I love the United Liverpool banter more than anything in football and without your songs about scousers it probably wouldn't be half as much of a laugh!
get to feck you dirty bindipper!
there's utter cunts supporting every team
...she is also a massive cunt.
never met a Leeds resident who isn't a mongolord
cunt or mongolord?
Although 50,000 drakepress fans would disagree (if i had any fans, that is).
because when my dad first came to this country every Man Utd fan he met was a cunt. Trufax
the home of the brave
i've been there a few times, nicest people you'll ever meet
hence the name
united winning everything
that and insufferable Man Utd fans
But when you live in a town so close to Manchester you get sick of how many people simply support them for the success and in doing so turn their backs on their hometown team. A huge percentage of people support United were I'm from when they have a wonderful football club they could easily watch each week.
Dave Mackay had just come back from a broken leg and was on the receiving end of a particularly nasty tackle from Billy Bremner. Thus follows a grand ol' pic.
as for Leeds? Jealousy basically :P
i think we've been humbled the past few years though. please love us :( please!
the most vile, disgusting, bowel-pukingly horrific accent of all time.
every other accent seems kinda bowel-pukingly horrific in comparison anyway
besides chinese engrish, american and scandinavian
is clearly a bit thick.
Loads of them standing in the home end trying to intimidate, my normal pre-match pub being closed due to expected trouble, being locked in the pub afterwards while they had an argument with the police and just general all-round knobbshness.
I know all clubs have a dickhead element, but Leeds fans seem much more objectionable than anyone else I've come across.
Quite like Man Utd though...
on behalf of nice leeds fans, we arent all like that and the away fans naturally have a more hardcore, twattish element to them (like most footie teams)
I give up.
Man Utd - Mick Hucknell
Leeds Utd - Chris Moyles
yet this fucking thing is up to 70+ replies?
I hate you all.
Not only were we the hardest side around, we were one the best footballing sides in Europe. People were jealous. Not many other sides can boast getting to five European finals in a nine year period. We didn't just achieve that by kicking people into the air y'know.
Our fans obviously play a massive hand - we're probably the most hostile set of supporters in Britain. Oh, and we just love to be hated.
In fact, it grinds with me that so many Chelsea fans do. That said, I'm always up for a bit of schadenfreude.
I hate Leeds because it's what a Chelsea fan should do.
