Any other DiS runners about?
What's on your running playlist?
New Balance > Asics
i want to start running again, innit. i never had an ipod when i used to run though, so i used to borrow my sister's and run along to TIMBALAND. but yeah, suggestions for a new playlist much appreciated.
Municipal Waste, Black Flag, Slayer, Coldcut and errr...2Unlimited.
Works for me.
i used to use as heard on radio soulwax pt. 2 as well, but you have to skip some tracks.
Marin B17 2010.
but I don't have a 'sportz armband' for my ipod and have to carry it, and feel like a chump.
That and my left knee is a bit knacked.
as in, no music. i'm pigsick of that so as soon as i've worked a way to attach my mp3 player to myself without risk of losing it, i'll be off again
I have a problem with my headphones/ears. They don't stay in. I run to the sound of traffic.
is to run five times rather than four times a week. Today I am sick so it cannot start yet.
the problem with listening to music when doin so is the earphones keep falling out.
try and get running shoes that suit the way you run. Lots of proper shops do this now, ie they watch you run down the road and then tell you what shoes are good.
Get headphones with the over ear clip, phillips are all right at this. sound quality is bobbins, but at least will block out the gym soundtrack of 'Valerie' and hefty blokes yelling and slapping each other on the back. they are also quite hard-wearing.
Get an ipod shuffle, really cost effective if you can't be bothered to carry your ipod, if not get the armband which can be tricky with the cable but does the job.
As for playlists, mine has supergrass (road to rouen album), the bees, upbeat early oasis, chemical brothers, alabama 3, cage the elephant, anything upbeat or with a repetitive beat. If I want to go for a whole album, have found that Tour de France sounds tracks by Kraftwerk works really well.
