What have you all got planned?
Also anyone want to loan me £50?
Didn't think so.
he came and did a show at my school in my last year of 6th form. He has some military affiliation and wore his No.1s
hope theres balloons and party games.
then i realised i'd much rather sit in my room, get drunk and watch jools holland.
world music party at a local co-operative/collective run cafe/bookshop/hall
house party with tha LADS FROM THA VILLAGE LADS LADS LADS
I'm staying in this year. Too fucking noisy and expensive.
someone tells me about something really friendly and chilled out that they're doing. somehow I don't think this will happen. i think this is the first time the words 'new years eve', 'friendly' and 'chilled out' have been written in the same sentence.
pizza. jools holland. beer.
or a slightly louder, more animated one in Brighton with new friends
i can't make up my mind
head back up to london to eat shit loads of Iceland food with my friends and then go to a house party or stay here in rural norfolk and hope my family go out for the night so i can stay in and hook up the ps3 to the new massive telly in the lounge and have a big wank/a can of stella.
Centurion at 3pm to kick off proceedings, followed by hopefully if i can persuade people a drunken game of 80s trivual pursuit. Then eith fireworks and then a party or straight party.
let us party like it was 1998, ja?
or however is written
you're all welcome.
it's in brighton, near the station. we have wii and Buzz big music quiz for playstation. see you there yeah?
go over to my best friend's house, eat some delicious dinner and dessert, play guitar hero/rock band/articulate some other 1+ player game, watch the fireworks on the tv and then go out to the fields with lanterns and sparklerz.
OH AND DRINK FAR TOO MUCH AND WAKE UP WITH A STINKING HANGOVER.
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel oh yeah
All nighter at The Railway pub.
Can I come?
to do some great dancing and try not to snog everyone at midnight, maybe wear a dress and i think maybe my new mardi gras mask and get really drunk and lovely uni friends who are all road tripping up for the occasion.
oh and probably take all my clothes off and run down oxford road.
my mother specifically booked her plane ticket back home to spend new years eve with me, so it'd be rude if i went out
Double pay and free drinks.
Party + club is so monotonous in this small town. It costs far too much money as Stephen's Day proved, for unsatisfactory fun.
Drink slowly and steadily so I don't do anything silly, end up getting drunk anyway and suddenly think "hang on, why am I being all quiet and on the fringes of this party when I'm HILARIOUS?! I should be the live and soul of this motherfucker!" Fail to be hilarious, the life or the soul, spend January embarrassed and crying.
More likely, however, I'll fall asleep before 11, alone and doused in my own semen.
A) Party where I get to dress up & get tipsy with my best friends that I've spent nearly every NYE with since I was 13/14. One friend will be there who hasn't the past 3 years.
B) Go to uni friend's dad's up north where we won't be able to drink but there are 4 wheelers & a ski place, but there's no snow really. Last year with uni friends before we all split off and we haven't done a NYE together.
C) Stay home and stay in and stuff.
for a house party at my friends' house in Oval. Spending NYE chatting to friends and playing drinking games is clearly a million times better than watching fireworks while freezing one's arse off, or feeling socially inadequate in a bad nightclub.
This is all assuming the trains don't get cancelled due to the impending snow apocalypse.
I've plans to go to a party in Oval too. Though I'm sure there are many parties going on in Oval...
i call bullshit on going out on new years eve. been there, done that, spent too much money, nearly missed midnight queueing at the bar, not had space to dance, been unable to talk to my friends due to the noise, lost half my friends etc etc etc
fuck that. going to have a huge meal, canapes, whiskey, disco and talking heads and laugh my ass off with some of the finest human beings this world has to offer.
in Avoch near Inverness. I've never been so far North. I've got a lift sorted to get there, I just need some 'party supplies'.
(I hope I'm not the victim)
things to do?
it all looks a bit rubbish tbh.
it could be ANYTHING.
I hate London on NYE. Windsor just boring. Brighton is going to be packed full of house parties. ALL GOOD!
Don't think I've ever had a good new years eve...
