The Incredibles-they introduce some new villain at the end of the movie
all the characters from the film teamed up with the baby godzilla from the end and fought other monsters.
also the character that was meant to represent matthew broderick was totally buff.
check out godzilla: final wars it's a bit mental and a hundred times better than the shite with that broderick chump in it.
the cartoon series sounds like a really shit version of x-files. the 80's cartoon wasn't much better if memory serves, but did have a cool boat. And godsooki, the scrappy doo of monster movies.
doing a Godzilla reboot?
that underminer shit at the end of the Incredibles was surely a joke about how films are left open for sequels.
Making it, in a way, the 'sequel'.
Most blatent "wait for the sequel ending" I've seen recently was the end of District 9
"Now She's Legal"
Ripley didn't actually die at the end of alien 3 and she's back, roaming the space in a stolen spaceship. She is contacted by a group of scientists who are doing experiments on some eggs they have found, but have found irregularities with the eggs so they need her help. She refuses the mission. she has become an alcoholic. Then, a transmission comes over the video call thing and it appears one of the eggs has hatched a mega alien called "the king". This alien has the whole crew of scientists tied up and attached to a device which is attached to a cup of coffee. When the coffee is drunk, the scientists are freed, but they have 30 minutes before the device explodes.
Ripley meets Jefff Goldblum from Independence Day in a Sainsburys and Jeff manages to convince Ripley to do the right thing. They set off to the ship together. For some reason the Alien only tries to eat men, but also trys to mate with women. Ripley bursts into the room with the scientists, the Alien spots her and starts running. Meanwhile, Goldblum bursts through the window, drinks the coffee, and the scientists are free. Then, all the scientists run towards the ship. They all get on, and start drinking coffee, waiting for Ripley. Ripley doesn't show, so they just leave. Goldblum pours some more coffee.
I just want two hours of Mark Wahlberg walking around and being amazing <3
rather than anything else.
*ding* THE END?
but he had such a shitty time making the original he couldn't really face a sequel
POP server sequel
surely a reunion at some point, but Brolin plays his character from No Country For Old Men to liven things up.
Set now, where they meet up to recreate the holiday from 1969 only to go to bed early with a cup of Horlicks. I'd watch that.
Seem to have to be flogged like a dead horse for as many sequels as possible now. Or given a prequel. Or "rebooted", and pre and sequels made of the reboots.
Trainspotting is due a sequel isn't it? There are actually books with the same characters, so I shall allow it.
although I think one is in the pipeline.
