ginger kids get bullied enough without corporate dicks trying to make money off fairly deep seated prejudices
I mean ginger, I couldn't give a shit personally, I rock decent looking and ginger, but it isn't really ideal is it? I feel for those full on scary ugly gingers you see about the place. you'd think tescos would want to avoid this kinda thing.
that woman is an idiot though, it's like she's having an argument with herself
"I picked it up and I couldn't believe it."
"I just thought 'What is so funny about that?' I didn't really get the joke.
"I thought I would buy it, because I wanted proof that I had seen it."
"The more I thought about it, the more annoyed (it took you this long to get the joke?) I got and I told the lady who worked in the store I was not happy.'Absolutely disgusted'"
all I can take from this is that she saw the card, didn't know what to think, bought it so she could decide what to think, then whilst still in the shop complained about it though she didnt get it, then went back home and got really disgusted by it and it wasn't there.
(probably to buy masks for her and her children)
that isnt overblown misplaced nonsense
im saying this is a dickmove on tesco's part. for instance,
for instance, if i was still of a school going age i'd cross out the 'even' and scribble in 'except' and give it to the ginger kid in class during break or something. lulz would ensue.
not world ending or anything, just the fact this is pretty insensitive and ballickery of tesco.
Don't worry, Lancashire discriminates against all non gingers instead...
"Scuse me love, need to check the collars match the cuffs, bosses orders."
how much do you wanna bet some of those magazines contain anti-ginger jokes? maybe they should stop selling magazines
i really can't stand that trend of the sort of cards that they sell in Scribbler with captions like "happy christmas, you fucking ballbag". i don't see the point.
Well, when you see a card that has "Happy Christmas" in it, you think, 'ahh, how nice' and then you open it up and it has "...you cunt.", the etiquette dissonance triggers a brief chemical imbalance in the globus pallidus section of the basal ganglia, producing a laughter response between 1-5 seconds, that many humans find pleasurable.
