for me seeing the utter plate of shite I had to eat whilst everyone else filled their boots with lovely turkey and pigs in blankets. Soon after the veggie mistake was rectified.
the non meat bits of christmas dinner are the best, even if you're not veggie:
roast potatoes and other roast vegetables (roast carrots om nom nom)
yorkshire puddings (yes they are part of christmas dinner)
turkey is just the filler
Although pigs in blankets are awesome too.

still you've just been having the wrong nutroasts, they're proper good.

here is a good one, it's a cashew nut, mushroom and parsnip roast from a Sarah Brown recipe and is yum yum yum
