Just on an average day

Breakfast: Porridge OR Scrambled eggs (2) on wholemeal bread (toasted)
Mid morning: Apple (If I had eggs) OR Handfull of nuts (if I had porridge)
Lunch: Sandwich of some sort
Mid afternoon: Banana
Dinner: Spag bowl
Bed time: Muller light (only 4 times a week, with a little protein powder mixed into it)
i'm intersted in people's eating habbits to a)compare them to my own and b) get more ideas for mealz n stuff
that was a cheap shot and i knew it all along
I guess someone had to say 'something'
Every day is different.
dinner- scallops, rack of lamb, bread & butter pudding and cheese.
Today- nothing so far. Probably nothing at all today as I'm a bit stuffed from yesterday. Maybe some miso soup, hmm.
it kick starts your metabolism for the day (kind of like putting petrol and oil in your car before a long journey to make it run better)....it's very unhealthy to miss breakfast (imagine how long a car will last if you only pump a quarter of a tank of petrol in and no oil....)
but it makes me sick. I do yoga every morning and I find I can't really eat for hours after it- I think my metabolism has come round to rejecting anything substantial before lunchtime.
and it's good to do something like yoga BEFORE breakfast, but surely you could manage some toast?
Even the thought makes me vomitous. Bizarrely though, if i'm REALLY hungover I can manage a bacon & egg sandwich. On a non-hungover day though? Eurgh, no way. I used to always eat breakfast- maybe I need to get back into the habit.
the thought of eating porrdige makes me want to crawl back into bed and throw up all over my pillow, because I HATE the stuff, but it's just something you know you gotta do.
Monster munch or wotsits, most likely.
Like oats, wheat or soya bread. I didn't eat breakfast for many years, but now I cant go without it.
Porridge/Porage is great.
It has to be made with water and salt, and then have cold skimmed milk poured over it. AMAZING.
I prefer it with Golden syrup
and for 10 weeks we ate porridge EVERY DAY!
Breakfast - cereal with half-banana (sliced) and assorted seeds bathed in semi-skimmed
Lunch - varies depending on what's on offer at the canteen at work, or if I have any leftovers from the previous night's meal I'll have them, or soup, or a Boots Meal Deal, or a nicer sandwich from a proper place.
Slice of toast when I get home from work.
Tea - again varies. Usually some kind of meat/fish with some kind of veg, or a curry or a pasta dish or a risotto or something. I don't eat meat/fish every day though, so sometimes it's something bean based.
Why did I bother writing that? I basically should have said "what I eat varies too much for me to say what I 'typically' eat in a day", actually I shouldn't have bothered replying at all. Abandon? Hell no!
Breakfast: cereal (Cornflakes) or a round of toast or a banana
Mid morning: a Cadbury’s Mini Roll
Lunch: A sandwich or a big bowl of tuna pasta
Mid afternoon: An apple and a biscuit of some kind
Dinner: Depends really – last night I had fish and potatoes, tonight I think I’m having hot dogs
Before bed: I might eat, like, an apple or biscuit and a bowl of ice cream or another bowl of cereal between dinner time and going to bed, so generally something like that
two slices of toast
i've not planned dinner yet, possibly breaded chicken and some wedges, probably some more bread too
breakfast = bran flakes and banana
mid morning = green tea/nettle tea
lunch = couscous salad
mid afternoon = geen tea/shitloads of water
dinner = some sort of curry (chicken makhani, beef dopiaza or saag aloo usually) or chilli
before bed = maybe a little cheeseboard if i'm flush
your menu was really good there. I <3 green tea too, so many antioxidants it's almost better than any fat stripper you can buy on the market
You buy fat strippers from the market? Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.
Del Boy got a consignment from Romania, but couldn't shift em.
Mike bought one though.
breakfast: black coffee
Lunch: something involving rice or noodles and vegetables
Dinner: 7 eleven stop off for pocky/lemon tea usually, I don't eat after 7 O' clock... just because.
breakfast: cup of tea/coffee and a few cigarettes
mid morning: two toast or banana or yougart
lunch - sandwich usually
mid afternoon - nout
dinner - soup - pasta - or meat potatoes and veg
before bed(?) - not very often but perhaps cerial or a yougart if im hungry
breakfast: cereal (cornflakes or weetabix usually)
lunch: grazed at my desk between about 10.30 and 12.30: sandwiches, cereal bar, some kind of small home-made cake, banana, satsuma
maybe a biscuit from the staff kitchen with my cup of tea
maybe a sneaky chocolate bar from the train station vending machine
dinner: varied. tonight it's chicken chow mein, courtesy of the "chinese food made easy" cookbook. (mmm)
not often that i'll have anythingin the evening, but this time of year there's usually some chocolate in the house.
I feel positively dissected.
no-one has put 'your mum' yet
anyway, if you can narrow what you eat to a list like that you probably need much more variation in your diet...
quite often people have similar meals, yet get everything they need. Usually the weekend and holidays are a time to diversify in what you eat, because you have the time to be more extravagant and try new things.
